Estates and Facilities Administrator

Salary: £17,142 – £18,473 pro rata per annum

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 18.5 hours per week

Location: Ellesmere Port, CH65 7BF

 We are seeking an Estates and Facilities Administrator to join our team at our Ellesmere Port Campus.  This is an excellent opportunity for an innovative and inspiring administrator to support in the provision of a quality support service for learners, visitors, customers, and staff.

This role will be responsible for the coordination of planned and reactive maintenance activities and the organisation of small-scale projects.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the College’s pre -planned maintenance (PPM) records;
  • Ensure all maintenance contracts are revised and reviewed on an annual basis to ensure compliance of statutory and mandatory requirements;
  • Procure requested items and materials using relevant frameworks in a timely manner;
  • Attend appropriate meetings and record details and actions;
  • Provide appropriate communication in the event of emergency evacuation of the College buildings, as laid down in the College’s Health and Safety Policy;
  • Provide a welcoming and professional first impression environment for colleagues and other stake holders. Undertake such other clerical and administrative duties as required by the department;
  • Manage online database and information systems in Microsoft Office packages and the Colleges own safety software;
  • Maintain office stock and arrange ordering of new supplies;
  • Maintain all first aid and PPE requirements;
  • Support all internal communications; and
  • Promote the welfare of children and young people.

Key Person Specification Requirements:

  • GCSE Grade C (4/5) or above in English and Maths (or equivalent);
  • Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in work and the learning environment;
  • Good organisational skills; and
  • Appropriate level of digital literacy.
