Step Into Work with Cheshire College

A newly designed programme, ‘Step Forward, Step Up’, has been launched at Cheshire College – South & West to help people find employment.  

During these times of unprecedented change that no one could have predicted, more people than ever are finding themselves out of work and looking for new career opportunities.  

The programme has been designed in collaboration with local Jobcentre Plus and brings together experts from a variety of industries to offer personalised services, providing all the support, learning and skills needed to move into sustained employment.  

Courses include English and maths, ICT, Taxi Driving, Mental Health Awareness, Business and Management, plus many more and the structure of the programme allows for further development and progression before stepping back into the world of work.  

Cheshire College are well known for providing a wide range of courses up to degree level to help people re-train and improve their skills to prepare for new roles and careers.  

The College is at the heart of the community in Crewe, Ellesmere Port and Chester, home of their three Campuses. The College is committed to ensuring learners progress to employment or higher-level learning with strong values and skills, allowing them to make a positive and valued contribution to society.
