West Cheshire College and South Cheshire College are hosting an Open Evening on 9th October 2017 from 5.30pm to 8pm across all three of its campuses in Crewe, Ellesmere Port and Chester.
The Open Evening will give young people currently at high school and anybody looking to improve their career prospects, the opportunity to gain more information about Apprenticeships, A Levels, Vocational qualifications and Higher Education courses, as well as see first-hand the outstanding industry-approved facilities available across all Campuses.
Staff from across the College will also be heading up a range of presentations that aim to provide an insight into College-life as well as chair an interactive forum for guests.
Helen Nellist, Deputy Principal said: “The majority of our current students studying with us started their journey here at College after attending one of our opening evenings. It really is a great opportunity to see first-hand the many opportunities, facilities and support that we can offer young people.”
Bringing together tutors and current students, attendees can speak to course tutors from a range of curriculum areas to understand which courses are best suited to them. Plus, those visiting Crewe Campus can learn about the College’s A Level Futures Programme including their exciting partnership with the University of Oxford.
The College’s Apprenticeship team will also be on hand throughout the evening to provide advice and additional support.
Helen also stated: “As the leading provider of training for young people, adults and Apprentices across the Cheshire region, everyone can benefit from plenty of practical advice, tips and information on all our courses whatever their future career entails.”
If you are unable to attend this particular event, the College will also be running another Open Evening on the 20th November 2017 from 5.30pm to 8pm
