Nimisha Mistry-Miah

Assistant Principal – Learner Services

Nim has 15 years’ experience of Safeguarding, Mental Health, Student Service, Equality Diversity and Inclusion across a range of sectors including education, housing and local authority. Nim brings to the role significant experience of leading a large and complex learner support and safeguarding team at Hopwood Hall College, in Rochdale. She is a nationally-recognised expert in equalities, safeguarding and mental health as well as being an AoC Beacon finalist in 2021 for championing a trauma-informed culture. Nim has also been leading on a co-ordinated approach across the Greater Manchester Colleges, as well as at a national level with the AoC, on mental health, by focusing on creating nurturing, inclusive and supportive environment for staff and learners.
