There is a fantastic atmosphere at our three Campuses in Crewe, Ellesmere Port and Chester, providing an environment to get involved in exciting activities and a opportunity to make new friends.

Trips and Visits

At Cheshire College – South & West we take pride in knowing our staff are keen to organise a wide variety of extra-curricular activities throughout the year in order to enhance learners educational experience. A range of trips and visits will be included throughout your study programme.

Volunteering

Volunteering is a great way to improve your employability by building up your skills and gaining valuable experience. It also gives something back to the community.  

There are a huge number of opportunities that you can get involved in, with a diverse range of organisations including charities and community groups.

Community College

Utilise all of our sports facilities to stay fit, pamper yourself in our salons, visit our state-of-the-art theatres or even fine dine in our award-winning restaurants. Get discounted rates in all of our Community College facilities.

Hang Outs

If you love coffee, you’ll love our coffee shops. We serve freshly brewed Costa coffee at all of our Campuses. If you’re looking for something more hearty, check out our Canteen, visit our Vegan Bar or grab a meal deal from the College shop.

Learner Voice

As a learner, you will have a say in how the College is run.

We will make sure that:

  • You know where to get information
  • You have the chance to give your views
  • We listen to you
  • You find out what has been done as a result of your feedback

The Learner Voice consists of Course Representatives, Senate, Ambassadors and Governors.

Awards

Every year we host several awards ceremonies, where staff from each curriculum area to reward learners hard work. A fantastic opportunity for our top-achieving and most inspirational learners to celebrate their success with friends and family.
