Alexandra Barau

ESOL Level 1

After finishing school in Romania I came to England with my parents. I needed to improve my maths and English so I looked online and found English and Maths courses that were suitable for my level.

The course has been good for me and I’ve met lots of new friends. I started on the entry Level course and progressed through to Level 1, which I have passed. My level of English has improved a lot and next year I hope to progress to Level 2 GCSE courses in Maths and English. I would also like to enrol on the College’s Level 2 Performing Arts course, and then onto the Level 3 course in Dance. In the future I would like to gain teaching qualifications and so that I can become a Dance Teacher.

I’m delighted that I made the choice to come to College. The teachers are excellent and have really helped me to improve my English so that I can progress to higher level courses.
