Assistant Director - Health, Childcare and Starting Point Nursery

Stacey graduated with a BA Joint Honours in Sociology and Childhood and Youth Studies and a PGCE in Sociology. She started working at South Cheshire College in January 2013 as a Health & Social Care lecturer and became a Course Team Leader a few months later.

She began her career at a local High School as a teacher and Head of Careers, before becoming a corporate parent for looked after boys aged 11-18 years.

Her role as the Assistant Director of Health, Childcare and Starting Point Nursery, includes all Health and Social Care courses from Level 1 to HNC. It also includes all Childcare courses, Counselling, First Aid plus the Entry Level provision, Petty Pool and Starting Point Nursery.

Stacey is proud that her area has recently benefitted from a new Health Science Lab and has built an excellent partnership with Ableworld enabling it to develop the Skills Academy. Stacey is looking forward to working with industry to develop curriculum opportunities.
