English and Drama at the Manchester Metropolitan University followed by a PGCE. He then went straight into teaching here at South Cheshire College, teaching A-Level English Literature and Language.
After spending a year travelling in Australia, James returned to South Cheshire College, lecturing A-Level and GCSE on a full-time basis.
James is now responsible for the cross-college provision of A-Level, GCSE and Functional Skills English which also includes the discrete adult and Apprentice classes. He is also an examiner for AQA English exams.
