Assistant Director - Health, Care, Entry Level, Access, Teacher Training and Deaf Studies

Anita has worked with children, young people and their families for over 30 years.  From achieving her NNEB at college Anita has held a number of job roles within this field. Whilst employed at a Social Enterprise in Liverpool, for 15 years of her career, Anita became the Head of Early Years and designed and opened 11 new Childcare Settings across the North West, including a 108 place nursery for the University of Liverpool. Anita achieved a BA Hons in Early Years Leadership and Management, and subsequently designed and opened a Children Centre in Liverpool where she achieved her National Professional Qualification in Integrated Centre Leadership (NPQICL)

Anita has worked in Further Education for the last 7 years and achieved her PGCE in 2013. Anita came to the College in 2015 as programme leader for Early Years and Employability Skills in Work-based learning. Anita was responsible for a number of courses including Early Years Educator, Support Teaching and Learning as well as a wide range of NCFE short courses.  In 2017 Anita worked with her team to secure a contract with Cheshire West and Chester Council to deliver Apprenticeships in Support Teaching and Learning across the local authority.

In February 2018 Anita was promoted to the post of Assistant Director – Health, Care, Entry Level, Access, Teacher Training and Deaf Studies.
