Learn the higher-level skills you need to reach your destination. With this course you’ll gain relevant occupational experience, knowledge and skills in the workplace and on visits to large industry employers and operators. You will learn about worldwide travel locations, customer service and selling skills, working as an overseas Resort Representative, working as Cabin Crew and planning and managing a travel and tourism event.
Five GCSE’s at Grade 4 (C) or above including Maths and English. Level 3 students who do not achieve a grade 4 in English and/or Maths will study a GCSE in the subject(s) as part of their study programme.
On completion you could go in to employment or, if you achieve a Merit or Distinction, progress on to the HNC/D Travel and Tourism Management. On the first year of the course you will be enrolled on the BTEC Fast-track Diploma and upon successful completion you may be able to progress to the 2nd year of the BTEC Extended Diploma in Travel and Tourism.
