This course is an ideal full time qualification for young people and adults interested in any of the uniformed or public services. Modules that you'll study range from leadership and citizenship through to emergency service incidents, expedition planning and both land and water-based outdoor adventurous activities. You'll also get to understand more about the law and how the criminal justice system works, and volunteering in the uniformed public services.

The BTEC Extended Diploma qualfication is designed to equip individuals with the knowledge, understanding and skills required for the public services at operational level.
Five GCSEs at Grade 4 (C) or above including Maths and English. Level 3 students who do not achieve a grade 4 in English and/or Maths will study a GCSE in the subject(s) as part of their study programme.
A clear DBS check
Candidates are prepared for presentation at uniformed service recruitment interviews or progression to university and then to a uniformed public service recruitment interview.
