This BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma is equivalent to 3 A-Levels and will appeal to anyone who is interested in a career in health and social care. Students study a wide range of subjects over 2 years, including developing effective communications, psychological and sociological perspectives for health and social care and professional development. You will also study some specialist units.
Five GCSE’s at Grade 4 (C) or above including Maths and English. Level 3 students who do not achieve a grade 4 in English and/or Maths will study a GCSE in the subject(s) as part of their study programme.
Higher Education e.g. Social Work, Nursing, Midwifery, Social Science degrees, employment in the Health and Social Care sector.
