If you want to be a bright spark, be an electrician! Demand for qualified electricians remains high and this course in our brand new facilities will set you off on the right track. Electricians can be self-employed or work directly for companies, so if you want a job that’s far from 9 to 5, then a career as an electrician could be perfect. The course will include covering electrotechnical knowledge, electrical science and the practical application of theory in the workshop.
Five GCSE’s at Grade 4 (C) or above including Maths and English. Level 3 students who do not achieve a grade 4 in English and/or Maths will study a GCSE in the subject(s) as part of their study programme.
Apprenticeship in Electrical Installation; Foundation Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
