This is a new Level 1 nationally recognised certificate in Carpentry and
Joinery. The course is very practical and includes: safe working practices,
underpinning construction knowledge, care and use of portable power tools, care
and use of woodworking hand tools and use of basic wood jointing techniques.
From this course you can progress to focus on either Bench Joinery or Site
Carpentry, depending on your area of interest.


This very practical course gives you the basic skills and knowledge for
working in the wood trades, including the following units:

Individual Study Programmes will be discussed at interview to meet individual needs.

Progress to the Level 2 Diploma in Site Carpentry or Bench Joinery.
