This introductory level course aims to help people gain the skills needed in
an office environment. The diploma covers various aspects of administration
including creating business documents, welcoming visitors, supporting business
meetings and looking at job opportunities in administration. Assessment is
through coursework that builds up to the diploma. All learners will be supported
to complete a work experience placement. In addition, learners will study a
selection of units to aid personal and social development. To support the
development of the skills needed by today’s employers, you will also study
English and Maths at a basic level.
