Access to Higher Education Diploma – Humanities – Level 3 – OCNWMR

This programme is specifically designed for mature students who wish to return to study and improve their qualifications. It is particularly useful for individuals who intend to enter Higher Education to study non-vocational subjects such as History, English Literature, Media, Psychology or Sociology.

The possession of GCSE qualifications, grade C and above in English language and/or maths is essential. For those students needing to take GCSE English or maths alongside the Access Diploma they will need to undertake a short initial assessment to ensure that they are working at the appropriate level to enable them to gain a grade C by attending the college GCSE re-sit programme. Prospective applicants are encouraged to contact individual universities for information about all entry requirements

You will gain a diploma which is recognised nationally as an alternative qualification to A-Levels. This enables you to apply for degree and other Higher Educational courses.
